The fourth season of Big brother Africa ia dubbed the Revolution. Big brother Africa has undergone many changes including the doubling of the prize money to $200,000. The voting system was also changed and people will now vote for those they want to remain in the house as opposed to those they want to be eliminated. It was also expanded to 14 countries. Mozambique and Ethiopia were added to the list. The housemates who will be selected will head to the house in September 6, 2009 and the show will be running from then to the finale on December 6, 2009.

Be a citizen of the participating countries.

For those who don't know,especially those in the diaspora, Big Brother Africa is a reality show similar to the ones you see abroad in some way. It involves 12 countries within Africa which are Angola, Botswana, Ghana, Kenya, Malawi, Namibia, Nigeria, South Africa, Tanzania, Uganda, Zambia and Zimbabwe each producing a contestant living in an isolated house while trying to avoid being evicted by viewers and ultimately winning a large cash prize at the end of the show. The big brother Africa house is located in South Africa.
