# 9 Witnessing accidents and other things.

I am still wondering if i should call it kuzubaa. When something happens like a car accident or may be the police arresting somebody,its often not a surprise to see crowds build up. Some are there so that they can have stories to go gossip to their friends while drinking tea together, some are there to help the victims and others are actually thieves who want to steal from the victims. It does not matter what the reason is but its a Kenyan thing and its in our blood.

Looking back to the tanker accident that happened a few months ago, some of the victims who died were just onlookers. We can argue that if they did not go to witness, they might have survived if we don't follow the myth," kama siku yako imefika huwezi epuka."
