#2 Ugali/sembe/unga

This is in the genes of almost all Kenyans. I wonder who does'nt like it and why. If you are there tell us why you are allergic to ugali. I remember the days i was young i used to like the crust left in the sufuria more than the ugali itself. I also remember when i used to hustle in Nyeri after completing high school, ugali together with bean stew (Kshs20) used to be on demand in a certain kahoteli near grogon.
Kenyans believe that ugali gives you back the energy you loose after working hard. In my days in high school we used to eat ugali for three days that is Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday dinner time and i can gurantee you that those were the best days ever in school.
Something else that led me to believe wakenya hulike ugali is because i went to an African shop here in the US where we usually buy some Kenyan stuff to cook. The shop usually has a large stock of maize meal but i was shocked to find none. Even before talking the Naija boy selling was like " hey my Kenyan broda, i know you are looking for maize meal. Sorry but nowadays its running out faster than Fufu meal(lol). Seems you Kenyans like ugali alot" By friday he had stocked the shop again.

But the question still remains: which ugali is the best?
